Summer Awesomeness!! Part 2

Warning super long post!!

July was a crazy month for us...

Our attempt at a picture of our kids in their Fourth of July outfits.

Dan's sister came into town from Georgia. We had a great time with them and did tons of stuff.

The girl cousins

We went swimming at the Payson pool

We went to the cabin again and went on a couple of hikes.

We got our faces painted.

We went to the Lindon pool but, I forgot the camera.

We played at Grandma's.

Cute nakie babies.

We did so many fireworks we got bored and quit before we finish them all!

Ellie's first sparkler.

The traditional sparkler pictures

We had swimming lessons

The kids really look forward to swimming lessons every year. And I figure if we don't make it swimming that much at least the got to go a few times.

We went camping with Dan's family at Crystal Hot Springs. We had a great time even if the campground was a dump. I didn't take very many pictures. :(

This is Dan and the kids at a reenactment of the Golden Spike. It was really cool and I am glad Bonnie wanted to go.

Beth came through town during Fiesta days and we were able to go to the carnival. There are too many cute pictures so, here are just a few.

In the boats Kim, Jeremy, Jessica, and Amy

I'm a cool dude!

Ellie's only ride.. her stroller. And for the second year in a row. But, she did get some cotton candy!

What is it about this ride and the awesome poses!

For the 24th of July weekend we went camping with the Tong's and Jordan's to Fremont Indian State Park. We had a totally awesome time.

My cutie girl, Ellie.

Our most awesome campsite! This was one of the best campsites I have ever been too. Felt like southern Utah but, cooler and less crowded. Just at the edge of the picture is a path that leads down to a little stream with a cool bridge over it.

Kids playing in the stream.

Spencer caught a lizard and the kids just loved it. Almost to death!!

Ellie had a great time!

So, did Jayme!

Ellie and Alexis got along great! I see some best friends in the future!

There was a cool museum with a great place for the kids to learn about indians.
We did lots of other cool stuff there too. Like hike, make petroglyphs, and go in a pit house.

On the way home we stopped at Cove Fort. It was especially great b/c it was the 24th!

Wow! If you made it through all of that you deserve a reward!!

Back to School

Well, it has been too long to try and catch up so we will just start over!
The kids were so excited to start school. I have to admit I was a little excited too. I love summer and all the fun, lazy days it brings. But, the end of this summer was hard for me. The kids started fighting a ton and all they wanted to do is watch TV and play video games.

I had the kids stand in the shade of the tree this year b/c the sun always shines in the their eyes. Didn't work so good. Sorry for the half shaded faces.

Jessica wanted one on the sidewalk so, it looked like she was walking to school. Haha! I took her!

Summer Awesomeness!! Part 1

Summer has gone by with a BLUR!! It all started with a Dance recital. Isn't she cute??

We went to Moab for an awesome family reunion. Even with the bugs and heat!!

Four wheeling with da boys!

We played in trees!

And with our cousins!

We went to Dead Horse Point

and to Arches

and to the RODEO!! We had a great time with the Ottley's!!

The boys went on the annual Father and Sons campout. I think they had a lot of fun. And got really messy!

Jayme turned nine! I can't believe he is so big. I could gush on and on about how it was only yesterday... but, I won't. He is a great kid. He loves to read and loves science. Oh, and he likes video games but, just a little. ;)

Since it is an odd year we don't have a friend party. So, we went to Chuck E. Cheese.

I love this series of pictures of Ellie. Look how happy she is....

And then it started to move! She was not happy!!

We went to the cabin. Ellie discovered corn on the cob. I think she ate the whole cob!

Our kids love it up there!

We made a pinewood derby car

and celebrated when we came in second!

The month of July is coming soon....
