December Happenings

Here we go!

Jessica's School Program
Jessica did great at her school Christmas program. For several weeks she practiced her part over and over. "The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there." Every child in her class said one line of The Night Before Christmas.
Here she is saying her part.

These antlers were a "suprise." She couldn't wait to tell me about them!

Hilliam Family Christmas Party
We were lucky enough to have most of the Hoen Family her for Christmas this year. Our kids were super excited to see all their cousins. Here we are at the Hilliam Christmas Party.
The kids on Santa's Lap. By the way, accordding to the kids this is the real Santa. The other ones are just helpers.

Jessica and Abbi

Doing our skit. Dan and I didn't not participate. :(

Kyle as a wiseman

Kyle's Christmas Eve experiance
We give the kids new pajamas, like most of you, on Christmas Eve. I love seeing them walk down the stairs in their new PJs on Christmas morning. Well, Kyle wasn't excited about his present at all!
Kyle Before

Kyle After!! It was so funny and sad at the same time!

Christmas Day

Christmas was nice and relaxing. We spent most of it at home with the kids. Then we went over to Bonnie's for dinner and time with family.

At Grandma's with Caleb and Seth

Adventures in Sledding
The entire week of Christmas the weather was awful. It snowed tons! We planned to go to the cabin the day after Christmas to sled but, things didn't work out the way we planned. (Mommy didn't plan very well and Daddy was very hungry!) After driving to Heber and waiting in the car for a while we left! Sorry everyone! We went down to Heber and ate lunch. It was super yummy! We told the kids we would go sledding afterwards but, we were unable to find any sleds at any store. (We finally went for Valentine's!)
Kyle fell asleep on the way home with a sucker in his mouth! What a crazy boy!
